Current Cost is a domestic automated monitoring and targeting system. It is a real time display and a really
useful device to help you to understand your home’s electricity use. A remote display unit shows real time
electricity consumption. The data is stored and can be downloaded to a computer manually. This system
is easy to install and maintain, but requires manual intervention to store data, communicate it widely and
respond to electricity over use.

We recommend providing the Current Cost display to the members of your organisation - whether it is
the employees of a company or parents of the children at the school, the current cost display not only
empowers those using it to get involved in reducing energy usage and CO2 emissions but will also help
them to reduce their energy bills at home.

The Current Cost display has been designed to assist users in stopping wasting energy, this doesn't mean
stopping use - using energy isn’t bad, wasting it is, and wasting energy is wasting money. But, if you are
wasting energy, you are wasting money. The bar graph on the display should show virtually nothing during
the night and if you are working it should show the same during the day, if it doesn't, maybe you are leaving
something(s) on that could be turned off?
