All of our presentations are personalised to your organisation.
One of our available keynote presentations is ‘The Future Is Now’:

Taking advantage of the coming green revolution - four steps that
every company can take now to reduce costs, increase sales and
connect to a new generation of ethical consumers.

Environmental sustainability, energy efficiency and diminishing
resources present clear risks and significant opportunities for
every company. But it requires companies to treat these issues
as strategic imperatives, and not just “nice to have” PR
opportunities. This is not just because of the moral or legal
imperatives, but also because it makes business sense.

This presentation or workshop starts by briefly outlining the causes and effects of the current global resource crisis.
But it is not another “gloom and doom” session. The focus of the session shifts quickly to our practical Four Step
model – four steps that every company, building or family must implement in order to benefit from the “green revolution”.
The session concludes by providing nine reasons why you must improve the environmental performance of your
business – only one of those being the environment. This session will help your team put business sustainability
where it belongs: at the heart of your company’s strategy. The benefits of doing this would include:

  • Reducing energy usage will save costs – immediately!
  • Get benefits from early action matrix (link). The UK introduced a Climate Change Act in December 2008,
mandating adherence to a Carbon Reduction Commitment. Companies that had “Early Action” on energy
usage gained a huge advantage that will last at least five years.
  • Reduce business risk by dealing with potential environmental risks. This will also increase access to
cheaper capital and ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Open new markets and foster innovation. The low carbon sector is currently worth over £3bn in the UK –
the country that has taken the lead in these issues. UK consumers spent £4.3bn on low carbon goods
last year. Internationally, the sector has grown by 40% in the last year alone, and, even during the recession,
    growth remains strong.
  • Attract, retain and motivate employees and customers – they’re increasingly looking at your environmental
policies when deciding to work for you or buy from you.

This presentation helps to catalyse your entire organisation to implement “green”, socially responsible practices and
systems. In addition to the moral and legal imperatives, this session highlights the business case, including reduced
costs, increased profits, revenue opportunities and the growing demands of ethical consumers. This is not just a
session for Greenpeace-type activists or do-gooders. This is something that will benefit every business everywhere.
